COACHING STAFF
USF Lax Camps are coached by the USF lacrosse staff and several highly respected guest coaches from colleges throughout the nation. Schools represented at USF camps include Florida programs: VCU, Kennesaw State, University of Tampa, Rollins, Florida Southern, Embry-Riddle, St. Leo, Flagler College, Palm Beach Atlantic, Warner University, and more. We will also host other DI programs from outside the state of Florida and feature guest coaches from across the Lax World! Our staff will feature current NCAA players in addition to the best college coaches in the country! Our staff is positive, relatable, and inspirational!
Mindy McCord's teams have compiled a 170-62 record in her 13 years at DI, and she has amassed an incredible 326 wins across all levels in 33 seasons of coaching. She is a multi-term IWLCA board member, former Team USA Selector, and active in her community. She is an 8x Collegiate coach of the year.
Coach Britt transitioned from a drafted professional player for the Baltimore Ride and a 2x Defensive Player of the Year in the ASun conference to a championship winning coach. From 2016-2021 her JU teams won 9 regular season + tournament titles and went to the NCAA tourney four times. In 2021 the team went to the Sweet-16. She transitioned to Stanford where she was the defensive coordinator, helping Stanford to both regular season and tournament championships. She is USF's Associate HC!
Coach Paul started coaching girl's/women's sports as a 16-year old at the YMCA as a basketball coach! Since then he has coached women's lacrosse for over 20 years! His record setting offenses have led the NCAA in scoring six times and set the NCAA record for goals twice. CP is also a certified Life and Executive Coach, and an assistant pastor at 913 Church in Jacksonville Beach.
Sharn Muffett has both international and NCAA DI and DII experience as a goal keeper. She starred on the Australian U19 World team program prior to attending college at Jacksonville University where she starred for 4-years. She earned a graduate degree at D2 Queens University of Charlotte while starting in goal for two seasons, leading the program to D1 status her final season. Sharn specializes in goal keeper training and is a strong student of the game!
Vince serves as the operations specialist for USF lacrosse, but he is also an alumnus of Marymount where he was a standout lacrosse player on the NCAA team. Upon graduation he served as a facilities and operations coordinator, and assistant coach for the team. Vince has four years of experience at South Florida where he was an athletics facilities coordinator.
